Rooney reportedly accumulated £700,000 in debt while he was betting on sports games such as football and horse racing. The footballer also managed to lose $100,000 in a single day after he got home after scoring twice in the World Cup qualifier in Belarus for England, 2008. It seems that while he got lucky on the field he didn’t get lucky at the tables.

These are just some of the top sports stars who have fallen in love with gambling like everyone else.
